Meet Our Team

Bill McLeod is the Executive Director of the Dupont Circle Business Improvement District, working on streetscaping and the new cap park. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director of Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets, a revitalization organization using historic preservation to retain and attract businesses to Dupont Circle. Bill worked on fundraising, marketing and events. Before that, he was the Executive Director of the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District, a business improvement district working on the east end of downtown Washington DC – providing clean, safe, marketing, planning, and economic development services to the area. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director of Barracks Row Main Street, an award-winning nonprofit organization on Capitol Hill revitalizing 8th Street SE. Before that, he worked for the National Trust for Historic Preservation where he managed the Main Street Certification Institute, Great American Main Street Awards, and fundraised. Mr. McLeod earned his MBA through George Washington University and a B.A. in Social Science from Houghton University in Houghton, N.Y.

Jason Goldman is the Marketing and Events Manager of the Dupont Circle Business Improvement District, with a focus on curating and disseminating information related to events and happenings within Dupont Circle. Before this, he served as an Events Coordinator for American University’s Washington College of Law. There, Jason facilitated events for high-profile clients in the political sphere while also maintaining a commitment to exceptional event planning and hospitality. Before that, he was the Program Coordinator for the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering, where he supervised and managed up to 50 program Ambassadors to coordinate and execute large-scale events with the primary purpose of marketing the University and its programs to potential applicants. Mr. Goldman earned his B.A. in Public Policy and Public Leadership from the University of Maryland in College Park, M.D.

Eric Brock-Smith is the Safety Manager for the Dupont Circle BID. Prior to that, he was a Safety Ambassador for the BID, working for Central Union Mission. Before that, he worked for Allied Security as a shift supervisor where he managed security guards through a multiplex video system. And prior to that, he was a senior officer at Patrol Rescue Security where he patrolled the Camp Springs Shopping Mall to reduce theft and manage parking.
