Are you a Dupont Circle BID member interested in expanding your business's outdoor dining area? 

Streatery, plaza, or alley closures can only be sought by Business Improvement Districts (BID), Main Street Organizations, or Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANC). If you are an eligible business or group of businesses that would like to apply for expanded outdoor seating of any kind, please review the guidelines and email us at info@dupontcirclebid.org.
 
 
 
 

Dupont Circle BID Propane Heater Form

The District has been able to source a number of outdoor propane heaters for eligible restaurants. The Dupont Circle BID will likely be able to purchase 40 outdoor propane, non-portable heaters. The BID will donate these heaters to BID restaurants for use in outdoor dining spaces.  The heaters will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis, one heater per restaurant. Restaurants that currently have no heaters will be prioritized. 

If demand outweighs supply and you do not receive a heater during this round, the BID will create a waiting list and reach out when more heaters become available.

We are still working out details regarding distribution and permitting, but we are anticipating  For eligible restaurants, the BID is working with the District to quick and efficient delivery of the heaters, potentially as early as next week.
