This year’s Independence Day celebration in DC is part of the America250 Semiquincentennial, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. The fireworks show is expected to break the Guinness World Record, featuring over 800,000 fireworks and lasting more than 30 minutes, launched from both sides of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. -Fox5 News
