Details
Buddhist nuns and monks from Blue Cliff Monastery in upstate New York are holding an exhibition and dinner at Friends Meeting of Washington to showcase and auction original calligraphy of Thich Nhat Hanh and the artwork of the monks and nuns. Thich Nhat Hanh was a friend of Martin Luther King, who nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
This is a unique opportunity to meet the monks and nuns and enjoy their kind and peaceful presence as well as view and purchase one-of-a-kind artwork. The entire event is a fundraiser to help improve their facilities.
Below is a schedule and more information on the opportunity to attend the exhibit and dinner. Tickets for the event (exhibit and/or dinner) are required and are available at the linked website.
