Please join us for an afternoon with Lea Barcus, who will share how she transforms found objects into her intricate sculptural collages in “My Tiny Castles,” currently on exhibit at Guild51 Gallery. Through her work, Lea invites viewers to delight in imaginative play and to find beauty and meaning in the overlooked and discarded. As part of a visual tour she will give of the various materials and techniques she uses in creating “My Tiny Castles,” Lea will demonstrate the versatile technique of needle felting.

Linger after the talk to enjoy Lea’s “My Tiny Castles” as well as Brocha’s “Jaguar Moon,” both on view at Guild51 Gallery.

Guild51 partners with generous D.C. businesses to host exhibits of works by D.C. area artists in office spaces during weekends and after hours.
