Join The Secret Life of Daydreams x Shop Made in DC for a VIRTUAL Block Printing class!
About this Event
Just because we’re social distancing doesn’t mean we can’t be creative together! Learn the ancient craft of block printing which is the process of designing and carving a simple design of your choice into a block, and then using paint to apply the carved block to your zippered pouch. You’ll receive hands on instruction from Jessica on how to choose your design to give you the best end result.
Experience level: Beginner! No experience is necessary for this workshop. Find out more about the process at secretdaydreams.com/block-printing
Here's how it works:
+ This class will be taught virtually via Zoom.
+ You will receive a confirmation email with the link to participate.
+ We will mail students a kit with all the materials you need to participate.
+ You will need paper towels, water to clean your brayer, and a paper plate or some kind of plate for rolling your paint
+ You must register 8 days before the workshop to ensure your kit arrives in time. If you are located outside the DC-metro area, please register ASAP to ensure your kit arrives in time.
