On July 4th, which was Kramers’ 49th birthday, the bookstore celebrated by kicking off a new membership program. The benefits include getting 10% off all purchases in the bookstore: books, puzzles, cards, merchandise--everything! There also will be two exclusive, weekend-long annual sales in August and February where members receive 20% off everything. For a one-year membership the cost is $30.  

The membership is the brainchild of Andrew Jones, General Manager of the bookstore. “In advance of our 50th anniversary next year, we wanted to make sure our customers knew we loved them as much as they love us,” he said. Jones went on to say that Kramers wanted to have something special for the loyal customers who have supported them in the Dupont neighborhood for so long.
