Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Across the Pond! DCFD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums will be performing at 3pm ET and will leave to go to Duffy's Irish Pub around 4pm ET.

DCFD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums had their first practice in February 2002 and a year later, they were performing in their first DC St. Patrick's Day Parade. The ability to play for one of their own after multiple “Line of Duty Deaths” served as a catalyst for the formation of an all DC Firefighter Pipe and Drum band. The band is made up of active and retired DC Firefighters. Over 20 years later, they are still performing in restaurants, bars, services, and parades throughout the region.
