Join Sitar Arts Center on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. for a community art workshop inspired by “Chain Reaction” — a captivating 100-piece art exhibit by the 14-member International Online Art Collective.

Immediately following the community art event, Sitar is hosting an opening reception. Two years in the making, “Chain Reaction” is the collective’s most ambitious project yet. Starting with just one piece, a chain of artwork inspired by each other culminated in 100 pieces assembled into one multi-media installation.

Community Art Workshop

5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Join us for a hands-on activity facilitated by IOAC artists Caroline Karp and Ruth Christensen. Guests of all ages can collaborate on a piece of art inspired by the “Chain Reaction” theme.

Opening Reception

7:00 p.m.

Meet and chat with the artists who will be in town for the exhibition’s opening and enjoy an in-depth look at all 14 artists, their processes, and inspiration.

Come make art and explore the entire 100-piece series! Both events are open to the public.
