Join DC Design Tours and the Heurich House Museum to experience Washington's Gilded Age!

Begin in the gardens of the Brewmaster's Castle, an imposing Romanesque mansion built by German brewer Christian Heurich in 1894. Join a one hour walk to explore Dupont Circle, the center of Gilded Age Washington high-society. Stroll past opulent mansions and grand embassies, and hear the stories and scandals that helped shape the Nation behind the doors of the District's most extravagant homes. Then return to the Heurich House for happy hour in the Castle Gardens.
