About this Event

The pandemic is the perfect time to curl up with a ball of yarn and a pair of knitting needles! Knitting is a warm, relaxing hobby and a great way to kill time alone with Netflix...or during Zoom meetings. In this class you will learn how to cast on and do the knit stitch. You will make a solid start on your first project, a subtly striped green scarf to wear this spring. (If enough people are interested, we may hold a follow-up workshop a few weeks later for a small additional fee.) Your kit will include a pair of knitting needles, the yarn for your scarf, and a yarn needle for finishing your work.
