About this Event
In this two hour workshop, Samantha Testa will give you access to beginner pointed pen supplies, show you how to use all of them, and guide you through basic drills and practice sheets. One on one guidance will be provided to help you with the pen strokes, letterforms, and stylizing your writing. You will use these skills to create your own greeting card set (because snail mail is making a comeback, ya'll). There will be wine because the perfectionist in you needs to remember that this is a new skill and it may take some time to master.

You will walk home with a personalized workbook containing several alphabet styles, nibs, an oblique nib holder, ink, Rhodia notepad, and a handmade greeting card set, which will set you up for calligraphy success!

No experience necessary and all skill levels welcome. Keep in mind we will be getting basic supplies and guidance for the very beginner calligrapher!
