About this Event
Learn a new technique and create your very own print in this workshop! Students will walk away with basic knowledge and instructions for how to create a linoleum block print from start to finish. By the end of class, students will have a carved block and at least one final print to take home. Students should bring a few images to use as inspiration or may sketch their own designs, although ideas will also be provided during class.

Christine is a middle school art teacher and local artist in Washington, DC. She has her masters degree and BFA in visual art, with a focus on drawing, painting, printmaking, and photography. Originally from Atlanta, but has made DC her home and is passionate about the arts in the city.

Kimberly Rose Pendleton, PhD is a Women's Empowerment Coach & Women's Studies professor who teaches women the power of falling in love... with themselves.
