Officer Bahammou began his career with MPD in 2013, starting on patrol in the 2nd District. He spent several years with the Nightlife Unit, working with businesses, security personnel, and fellow officers to help maintain safety and order in one of Washington, DC’s most active entertainment areas. He later transitioned to the Crime Suppression Team, where his efforts focused heavily on retail theft investigations and repeat offenders impacting local businesses. Officer Bahammou will talk about MPD’s Business Check Program, CameraConnect DC, Community Outreach Coordination, Safety Initiatives, Communication Channels, Safety Ambassadors, and Crime Reporting operations.

Mike Yost is a Washington, DC native and the current Store Manager of lululemon Georgetown. With more than 20 years of leadership experience, he has spent nearly his entire career working in Washington, DC, including leadership roles with Target and Apple before joining lululemon. Mike is passionate about strengthening connections between local businesses, civic leaders, and public safety partners while helping create a vibrant and welcoming community. Through his work in Georgetown, he focuses on building strong teams and fostering meaningful engagement with the broader DC business community.
