Amparo Fondita, the modern Mexican Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant from Chef Christian Irabién in Dupont Circle, just released its RAMW Metropolitan Restaurant Week menus. Metropolitan Washington Winter Restaurant Week runs from January 19 - 25, with an extension through February 1st that Amparo plans to join.

At Amparo, guests can enjoy a $65 three-course dinner, and a $35 three-course brunch, with an optional $35 wine and agave pairing.

The Restaurant Week menus offer significant savings over regular prices and a chance to experience some new offerings at the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant.

New Hot Cocktail at Amparo:  Hot Oaxacan

This cocktail, served hot, is made of Maiz Nation rainwater whiskey blanco, canela, sunflower-walnut orgeat, and lime.

The Hot Oaxacan is made with Maiz Nation Whiskey which is distilled in San Agustin Etla, in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca. The distillery is 100% off-grid and solar powered. All the water used in the process is rainwater - helping to preserve indigenous Zapotec waterways. All the corn used in Maiz Nation is organic and native non-GMO corn.

I hope you can include Amparo Fondita in any upcoming coverage or round ups of where to enjoy Restaurant Week deals in Washington, and where to stay warm with cocktails that are served hot.

Warmly, Aviva, on behalf of Amparo Fondita
