Trinidad native Michael George blends the sounds of the steelpan drum, harmonica, cymbal, maracas, cowbell, and drums to create a unique sound. This one-man act is energetic and memorable, combining several genres, including jazz, calypso, and reggae. Michael began playing music at an early age, soon sharing his special talents with the world. His hands, mouth, and feet are the only other members of his one-man production, fusing the sounds of seven instruments to create a harmony like no other.
Come to Dupont Circle Park on Saturday, January 13th from 1:00-4:00 to listen to the sounds of summer to warm up. Come for ten minutes with coffee or sit for an hour with a friend. Free!
