The office boasts an extensive selection of authentic and independent eyewear with origins across the globe. Thanks to an on-sight optical lab, the office is equipped to produce most lenses in house.
A Brighter Image has remained a family-run establishment serving the Dupont Circle community since its 1983 opening by Dr. David Goldberg. Dr. Goldberg’s son, Evan is a uniquely skilled optician and second-generation successor to A Brighter Image. Eyewear is Evans' art, and his taste for the unconventional and exceptional has gained him an esteemed reputation in the city’s optical community.
A Brighter Image offers annual eye exams, contact lens exams, and emergency medical appointments Monday through Saturday. Call their office to make an appointment, or feel free to walk on in and browse their perpetually evolving frame selection.
