This solo exhibition, featuring the art of Baltimore-based artist Ram Brisueño, invites viewers into a dreamlike landscape where identity, memory, and possibility intertwine. Rooted in the metaphor of an “undying garden,” the exhibition traces a journey toward authenticity; a journey shaped by the shedding of inherited masks and the courage to imagine oneself anew. Drawing on the words of James Baldwin, the work reflects on how we conceal and reveal ourselves, asking what it means to live truthfully in a world that often imposes narratives upon us.
