Pizzeria Paradiso: #DupontStrong

Category: Neighborhood Spotlight

Pizzeria Paradiso has set up a goal to donate 10,000 pizzas to children and families in need and frontline workers, in order to support the D.C. community during the coronavirus pandemic.

Starting April 9th, 2020, Ruth Gresser, the chef and mastermind behind Pizzeria Paradiso, began distributing 300 individual pizzas in Hyattsville in conjunction with Real Food for Kids: Chefs Feeding Families and Art Works Now to help families impacted by closed schools. The Pizzeria Paradiso teams have served children and adults a vegetable and whole grain crust pizza, and an Art Works Now MANDALA Coloring Sheet.

Plus, Pizzeria Paradiso just launched a Make Your Own Pizza Kit! Instructions can be found on their website, along with an exclusive recipe video on how to make your own pizza, where Ruth Gresser walks you through every step!

The Make Your Own Pizza Kit is available for carry-out or delivery. It doesn’t matter whether you’re craving a pre-made pie, or are up for the challenge of making your own; Pizzeria Paradiso has a menu item for everyone. If you want to support all the great work this business is doing, you can also purchase a gift card.
