The Dupont Circle Business Improvement District will be holding its annual meeting on Wednesday, May 8th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Foxhall Room of the Dupont Circle Hotel, located at 1500 New Hampshire Avenue NW. Tickets are $30 in advance and $50 at the door. Free to members of the Business Improvement District.
“The annual meeting is the one time of year when all property owners and tenants can come together to learn about all that the BID is doing,” said Bill McLeod, Executive Director. “We need to celebrate our successes more and remind everyone of all the good things we are doing.”
The annual meeting will be a time for the organization to review its past achievements, vote in new board members, and enjoy networking at the Dupont Circle Hotel. On the menu will be beef sliders, short rib crostini, mini crab cakes, chicken satay, and falafel; cash bar.
Once again, the Dupont Circle BID will hold a live auction to showcase some of the best of Dupont Circle. Auction items will include a restaurant gift certificates, one month barre classes, salon services, weekend stay at hotels, and other gifts.
Dupont Circle is DC’s international heart with 40 embassies, the destination neighborhood renowned as the city’s welcoming gathering place. The Dupont Circle Business Improvement District (BID) was formed in 2018 to elevate this iconic neighborhood through public space management, placemaking, activation, and economic development initiatives.
