The DC Holiday Market Opens this Friday, November 14

Washington, D.C. – A DMV favorite is back just in time for the holidays and in a new, festive location! The DC Holiday Market returns this season once again to Dupont Circle but now in the 1500 block of New Hampshire Avenue NW, one block east of last year’s location, where the city’s creative spirit and neighborhood charm meet.

Opening Friday, November 14, through Tuesday, December 23, the market transforms New Hampshire Avenue into a lively pedestrian promenade filled with local makers, familiar faces, and one-of-a-kind finds. Presented by Diverse Markets Management in partnership with the Dupont Circle Business Improvement District (BID), the market invites Washingtonians to shop, sip, and stroll among nearly 40 small businesses offering artisan goods, boutique brands, handmade crafts, and unique gifts from around the world.

Bill McLeod, Executive Director of the Dupont Circle BID, states, “The DC Holiday Market celebrates what makes Dupont special our small businesses, our community, and our creativity. Dupont Circle is the perfect place to find a gift and feel the holiday spirit close to home.”

“We’re thrilled to bring the DC Holiday Market back to Dupont Circle,” said Michael Berman, President of Diverse Markets Management. “This neighborhood has long been a hub for independent shops, art galleries, and cafés and the market adds even more warmth and local flavor to the season.”

Visitors will recognize returning favorites such as Migue’s Mini Donuts and The Capital Candy Jar’s hot roasted nuts, alongside new vendors offering jewelry, home décor, artwork, clothing, and gourmet goods. Festive décor, piped music, and lights will turn the avenue into a holiday wonderland steps from the Dupont Circle Hotel and just two blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro.

Market Hours:

• Weekdays: 12 – 8 p.m.

• Weekends: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

(Closed Thanksgiving Day and December 1 for exhibitor turnover)

Getting to the DC Holiday Market couldn’t be easier with a short walk from the Dupont Circle Metro Station (Red Line), with Capital Bikeshare docks, Metrobus stops, and ample bike parking nearby. Visitors can stroll from anywhere in Dupont Circle’s vibrant neighborhood or arrive by foot from surrounding destinations like Connecticut Avenue, 17th Street, or Embassy Row. Whether you ride, walk, or roll, the market is perfectly placed for a quick visit or a festive afternoon in one of DC’s most accessible and walkable neighborhoods.
